Still trying to perpetuate the sham I see IMO that the vast majority of HMs are selected via the public auditions :-)

Funny how vast majority of HMs in recent years have been on TV before (often many times) and/or have showbiz agents before they even enter house. Add to that at least one or two ‘glamour models’ (Yes I really believe they went to public audtions NOT ) per series and HMs that are known to have known senior production staff before show.

Exactly how many go in via full public audition process ? Maybe 1 or 2 at most IMO :D

I wanted to audition this year til I found that there were no auditions in birmingham. Are they trying to say that people from the Midlands are too common for TV??!! auds – chances are they won’t be calling…if your not through to the next round…you won’t get a call…you have to remember theres thousands of people who get to the end of the day etc…unless you know someone who’s gone into the house…you cant be sure how many further rounds there are. You have to look at it as winning the lottery…the odds of getting into the house are slim…if you are chosen to go further you will get a call…possibly in Feb/Mar…with the series rumoured to start at the end of May…remember tho, the last auditions are in London this weekend so…anyone lucky enough to get a call…will probably do so…in Feb/Mar at the latest…all presumptions by the way…so good luck to all..

I will be attending auditions in london. I think it would be an interesting prospect, being a housemate. I have had many people telling me id make a good housemate for years and Ive had reoccuring dreams that I get in and you know what they say, “Follow your dream” … but who are they?… I have no idea!

Ok I have auditioned for bb 11 and if you want to get in you have to be overly opinionated and over the top when it comes to your views that is how to get in ok

Looks like I’ve missed the audtions again – just too busy all the time. Last one as well, still their loss.

They are Still trying to perpetuate the sham I see IMO that the vast majority of HMs are selected via the public auditions

Funny how vast majority of HMs in recent years have been on TV before (often many times) and/or have showbiz agents before they even enter house. Add to that at least one or two ‘glamour models’ (Yes I really believe they went to public audtions NOT ) per series and HMs that are known to have known senior production staff before show.

Exactly how many go in via full public audition process ? Maybe 1 or 2 at most IMO

The comments above of some who went to the auditions reinforces my opinion on this. Would not suprise me that at least 10 of the HMs for BB11 were already finalised from AGENCIES and those who have been BB house tests in last few years BEFORE CBB7 even started

I’ve been there and done it, so unless i’m ultra special and they’ve made exceptions for me and only me; you’re full of shit.

The fact that I’ve met Saffia, Kris and Bea at auditions and Bex, Sylvia and Belinda in a test house 2 years ago was obviously just a convincing ploy on behalf of the production team. Yeah they’re really that devious and really have that much time when they’re busy preparing a summer long series that takes many months of prep. Yeah right, shut up mate.

Plus, what the hell is wrong with people going into guinea pig runs exactly? There are that many wannabes out there trying to portray a false persona in hope of grabbing one of those coveted spots, the producers would be stupid not to want to see them in a controlled environment for a few days. ALSO, the basis of the show is to find a cast that will WORK (i use that term loosely) together and a story that will transpire from them being together. They do this to determine who will fit the cast, who is genuine and even who can withstand the intense conditions.
Every show has a guinea pig run;- big brother, im a celeb etc.

You just don’t have a clue about anything, I advise you to rip out your internet connection and torch your computer pronto. ASAP!

I can vouch for Dr Anon…I saw Kris at the early audition process in Manchester last year and he made it all the way…the fact that some people who make it on to the show have previously been on tele or have agents is just purely because thats the type of thing they wanna do… i.e. be famous or in the spotlight…nowt wrong with that…i too have heard the rumours that CBB7RIP is goin on about but they are unfounded unless all previous HM’s do some sort of ‘Kiss & Tell’ book…we’ll never know…and to be fair thats part of the exciting and mysterious process that is the ‘BB Audition’…deal with it…

Telling me Mario and Lisa to name just two of the many examples I could name went through full Audition process from start to finish ? Do I have to list all their previous TV apperances ( Many by Endemol companies closely allied to BB production team )

Yes they are busy planning next series so what would be easier than just ringing round Showbiz agents , calling back some of the Housemates from previous years Test houses, Ask production crew if they have friends that might be good HMs oh and throw in a couple of people from the open auditions to make up number and keep the younger viewers dreaming of getting on the show via the auditions ? So thank you for reinforcing my opinion

Seeing Kris Again doesnt explain how many of the other HMs got on series. A few examples been Sophie,Freddie and to a lesser extent David (Golden Balls contestant like Lisa BB9).

Good to see the standard Endemol/C4 explanation for all these HMs that have Agents/Been on TV etc. If it was only odd case here and there maybe IMO. But looking at last several series it stretches credibility to its limit IMO.

The ‘rumours’ are far from unfounded IMO if you look about. There will never be a ‘kiss and Tell’ from an ex BB Housemate due to the NDA penalties that I would expect to be built into the contract they sign going into house ( Which I assume are like the contracts issued to production staff I have seen ).
That they apparently have to have such legal measures in place to stop the general viewers finding out how the show is made says it all IMO

‘Innocent’…why on earth do you keep popping up during this ‘heated battle’ haha….a ‘test house’ is exactly what it says on the tin…its a mock up big brother house…with ginea pig HM’s…some of which may end up as real HM’s…its a sort of rehersal before the real thing…thats my understanding of it.

Putting together of parts of prevous posts was not irrelevant quite the contary I think. Illustrates the usual pattern IMO of many of the same people getting to final selection stages year after year for various reasons discussed previously
