bbspy Big Brother 2014: Power Trip Tweetstakes

The bbspy Tweetstakes competition is back for Big Brother 2014: Power Trip – read on to find out all about it! By taking part you acknowledge and agree to all the rules and terms below.

bbspy BB15 Tweetstakes

How it works

Each player in the bbspy Tweetstakes will represent a Big Brother housemate for the duration of their stay in the house. If a players’s housemate is evicted from Big Brother they will be evicted from the Tweetstakes – and if their housemate wins, they will win!

Launch housemates

We’ll ask two quiz questions on our Twitter page (@bbspy). Question one will be asked on launch night one (Thursday June 5th 2014), and the first ten people to respond correctly will become players and be randomly assigned a number.

Housemates entering the house on launch night one will then be allocated to these players in the order they enter the house – e.g. player 1 gets the first housemate to enter, player 2 the second, and so on. If multiple people enter together as one housemate – e.g. Jedward in CBB8, Jack and Joe in BB14 – they will be represented as one housemate in the Tweetstakes.

Question two will be asked on launch night two (Friday June 6th 2014), and the first six people to respond correctly will become players and be randomly selected a number. These players will then be allocated housemates entering the house on launch night two.

In the event that less than ten housemates enter the house on launch night one, any leftover Tweetstakes players will be allocated housemates first on launch night two.

Should any players be left without a housemate after both launch nights (e.g. if fourteen housemates enter, players 15 and 16 are left out), they will not enter the Tweetstakes at launch, but these players will be the first to be assigned any latecomer housemates should there be any.

Armageddon New Housemates

On Monday 14th July 2014, three new housemates will enter the Big Brother house as part of Armageddon Week, meaning three new players will be added to the Tweetstakes.

A quiz question will be asked on our Twitter page and the first three people to respond correctly will be randomly assigned a number (17, 18, or 19). The new housemates will then be allocated to these players in the order they enter the house – e.g. player 17 gets the seventeenth housemate to enter.

In the event that the new housemates enter the house together, or there is otherwise confusion on which order they enter, the new housemates may be allocated to these players via another method to be determined by bbspy.

Latecomers & Twists

If new housemates are sent in to the house later in the series, there might be opportunities for new entrants to join the Tweetstakes. And as we all know, Big Brother does like to throw a twist in now and again – these may be reflected with a twist or two in our Tweetstakes. bbspy reserves the right to change the rules at any time!
