Celebrity Big Brother 2018: Year of the Woman - Andrew Brady, Ann Widdecombe, Daniel O'Reilly, John Barnes, Rachel Johnson nominated for second eviction

Andrew Brady, Ann Widdecombe, Daniel O’Reilly, John Barnes and Rachel Johnson have been nominated for Friday’s Celebrity Big Brother 2018 double eviction – but another twist will take place before the public vote opens.

Having won power over the house in last week’s 50s factory-themed task, only the male housemates were permitted to take part in yesterday’s nominations.

As she was the most popular housemate with the children who visited the house in the Big Brother Creche task on Sunday, Ashley is immune from the next eviction and was therefore unable to be nominated.

The results were revealed last night on spin-off show Bit On The Side last night, which featured a clip of Big Brother announcing to the housemates that Andrew, Ann, Daniel, John and Rachel would face the axe.

Daniel and John’s involvement seemed to come as a surprise Rachel, who exclaimed: “You’re joking, you are joking. I’m so shocked.”

Ann wasn’t fazed, reacting: “Well, we were right, weren’t we?”

However, the line-up of nominees may not yet be final. Channel 5 has now confirmed that a nominations twist will take place later this week, to be aired in Thursday’s episode, after which the public vote will open.

This unexpected development was only announced today, around 24 hours after the housemates made their nominations.

There will be no eviction tonight, with bosses instead holding a double eviction on Friday. A further double has been confirmed for Friday 26th January, but the lack of midweek boot-outs has left fans wondering how numbers will be cut.

On Monday, Wayne Sleep was punished for discussing nominations after he was caught suggesting that he intended to target Rachel.

I do hope Jess is next. This childlike innocent/dumb act is all put on to win. IMO.
