Channel 5 has unveiled an all new gold and silver eye logo for the milestone 20th edition of Celebrity Big Brother – and teased that it will have a ‘high end’ hotel-like house.

Unlike most summer CBBs, which use a modified version of the preceding ‘civilian’ eye, the anniversary series has its own unique logo.

Following the colourful comic book motif and the clip art-covered Union Jack, it is a much more subdued affair – featuring a metallic gold eye on a silver background, covered in a zig-zag line pattern.

This classier image is set to be reflected in the show’s house. Although bosses will have less than four days to work on it following the Big Brother final, C5 says it will be “completely redesigned” from the current ‘British village’ theme.

The Elstree Studios building will apparently be transformed in to “the country’s top celeb retreat”, with a high-end decor inspired by A-list hotel hangouts.

A promotional blurb released by the broadcaster says:

This summer, our celebrities will take a break from their hectic schedules for a stay in the country’s top celeb retreat – the Celebrity Big Brother house. Here they can let down their guard and unwind away from the paparazzi. It’s sure to be holiday heaven for some celebrities and a holiday from hell for others.

The Big Brother house is undergoing a complete redesign ready for its new star guests. It will become a high end retreat inspired by celeb hotel hang-outs.

But while the celebs kick back and let their hair down, Big Brother never takes a day off – after all, he wants to ensure that the celebrities will have an experience that they will NEVER forget!

Press shots of presenters Emma Willis and Rylan Clark-Neal were also released today (see gallery below). Although the duo’s images are the same as those of the current ‘civilian’ run, they now appear on a gold zig-zag background.

What remains unclear is what kind of housemates the new CBB will feature.

Although several fresh names have been linked to the show, other rumours suggest that ex-housemates could again return for another ‘All Stars/New Stars’ twist – or possibly even a full ‘All Stars’.

January’s series had a mix of new and returning housemates, and was won by Coleen Nolan – who was previously the runner-up of the 10th series in 2012.

Celebrity Big Brother returns to Channel 5 and 3e on Tuesday 1st August at 9pm.

I’ve seen a couple sources have rumored Stephen Bear is going to be in this years CBB. Can’t stand that arrogant POS. Disappointed that fans picked this narcissitic vile human for the win in 2015 after he treated the other houseguests with zero respect & turned that seson into a softcore porn show.
