Despite receiving thousands of complaints from viewers about Perez Hilton’s behaviour and Ken Morley’s use of offensive language, Ofcom will not investigate this year’s recent series of Celebrity Big Brother.

The Guardian reports that 2,736 complaints from viewers were made to Ofcom about the fifteenth series of the show.

715 complaints were made about Perez Hilton’s “sexualised behaviour”, 480 about his “threatening behaviour” and 262 about Ken Morely’s use of “racially offensive language” which lead to his removal from the house.

An Ofcom spokesman said: “Ofcom carefully assessed a number of complaints about this series of Celebrity Big Brother and has decided they do not raise issues warranting further investigation under our rules.

“We were satisfied Channel 5 had broadcast clear and appropriate warnings about the potentially offensive content, and that it intervened in heated exchanges and situations at appropriate times. We also took into account audience expectations for this reality format and the fact that the series was broadcast after the watershed.”

Ofcom also decided not to act on complaints about the way Morley and eventual runner up Katie Hopkins were treated during appearances on ITV’s Loose Women show after leaving Celebrity Big Brother.

The spokesman said: “We decided that the complaints did not raise issues warranting further investigation under our rules.

For the third consecutive year, Big Brother was named the most complained about show, whilst the Celebrity version of the show received the second highest number of complaints in 2014.

So, if rumours are to be believed Jeremy Clarkson hits stupid TV producers when he’s hungry. Secretly hoping they put him in Big Brother with a basic shopping budget.

I hope Jeremy doesn’t go in the CBB house as I can’t stand him. I think BB will edit him to make him look like a saint like they try to make Jim look a saint when he isn’t. They probably wouldn’t show anything bad that he might say.

That’s why I think there should be 24/7 Live Feed so BB doesn’t fool the public with the edits to make some look bad and some look like a saint.

He would probably win because of the Top Gear fans as well as getting a good edit.

3 or 4 weeks of Jeremy on my TV screen is a big NO! lol

Noooo, I like Jeremy. Rumour has it he invented Comic Sans…

A while back when Brian was still presenting Big Brother, I thought it’d be funny if Jeremy Clarkson and Stephen Fry both hosted the Big Brother main show. Due to the fact they both hate Big Brother with a passion, I think it’d be hilarious in a car-crash tv kinda way.

I remember Stephen Fry speaking about Basil Jet’s creation of the London sewer network, where he said something along the lines of “Joseph Bazalgette figured out how to pump sh*t out of peoples homes, yet oddly enough his great great-grandson [Peter Bazalgette] now runs Endemol and is busy pumping sh*t back into our homes”.

Agree about the 24/7 Live Feed though.
