Michelle Visage is an American singer and TV personality, best known as a judge on popular drag queen talent competition RuPaul’s Drag Race.
She begun her career in the late 90s as a member of R&B and dance-pop girl group Seduction, whose biggest hit, ‘Two To Make It Right,’ reached number two on the Billboard charts. Follow-up singles ‘Heartbeat’ and ‘Could This Be Love’ reached 13 and 11 respectively.
The trio disbanded in 1991, and the next year Michelle provided vocals for The S.O.U.L. S.Y.S.T.E.M. song ‘It’s Gonna Be A Lovely Day’, which was included in the soundtrack to iconic Whitney Houston film The Bodyguard.
The 46-year-old began her relationship with RuPaul in 1996 as a co-host of his VH1 talk show The RuPaul Show. In the 2000s she became a radio host on stations in New York City, Florida and Miami.
In 2011, Michelle joined Drag Race, which UK viewers can watch on Netflix. She describes herself as a “bitch with a heart of gold”.
Michelle is a massive fan of all things British, and has written about shows such as Celebrity Juice and The Only Way Is Essex on her blog. She’s also an avid viewer of Big Brother – admitting to have seen every series – and counts Nikki Grahame as one of her favourite housemates.
Now it’s her turn to take part, and it seems that RuPaul is getting behind her, as she reveals: “He’s excited for me because he knows what I bring to the party and he knows that I have got what it takes to stick it out.”
Michelle looks set to play the mediator in the house, as “there is so much turmoil in this world” – but she’s not too bothered about winning, as she has another goal in mind.
“I would love to win, but I’d love more for the British public to fall in love with me,” she says. “It’s not just about the win, I would just love them to want a bit more of me. That would make me so happy.”
So Michelle listened to Katie Hopkins and lost her letter from home! What a shame she couldn’t stand up to her just this once!

Its cringing to watch how she agrees with everything Katie says. I think she may be out on Wednesday, she has lost all credibility.
Eastenders seems to be a higher priority than GLBT now that we are getting near the end and her real mission is being exposed. Has there been one time that she has challenged KH? I noticed her rolling her eyes at some of the more outrageous things, but not ONE word of protest.

🙁 Yes its a real shame. I’d really liked her in the beginning but gradually got disappointed because of the group bullying situation and her so-called friendship with Hopkins. I thought out of everyone she would make a stance about the bullying, arguments etc etc since she appeared to be a human rights advocate. But alas I figured that she is NOT there for anyone’s let alone the LGBT rights but has her own agenda. She keeps on playing the LGBT card but really I dont think she is being honest. Why does she not admit it? She’s there for the money & fame like the rest of them. Its a real shame Michelle…but I have to say I do NOT want you to win…you doesn’t deserve it! But hopefully you’ll learn the error of your ways when you come out the show & watch back the show 🙁
I liked Michelle at first but when Katy Hopkins turned on Keith and Michelle followed suit that’s when I went off her. No voice of her own follows katy Hopkins lead all the time that’s not good.
I’m baffled by the cheers for this woman. What has she said or done that is so memorable except follow Katie Hopkins like a little lap dog?
Has she been seduced by her quaint English accent?
Does she think she’ll be influential in her being more excepted by the British public?
Sorry Michelle you’ll be dropped like a stone once you’re out of the house, you’re the wrong class of person for Katie Hopkins.
I’ve noticed nearly every winner of this competion has maintained a high peak on the poll graph !! The fact is it’s katie H and michelle who will win ,wich one ? The fact channel 5 gas been bought by Americans the fact katie has non stoped yank bashing ,the question comes down to a moral one ,will it be a verry verry hated woman who hates scotish people and Americans and fat people and ginger people and basicaly everyone that’s not a old school yuppie !!! Or michelle !! Also the bookies are playing a poker face with betting odds ,you need to turn the odds upside down to see the real winner ,it’s michelle all day long 😉
OK. I’m old and confused. Is Michelle some kind of Victor/Victoria person? Why is a straight women dressing up to pretend she is a gay man pretending to be a woman? Are there so few articulate gay men in the USofA that they need her to speak for them? She seems very sympathetic to the gay cause, but what is the point?
There is talk on twitter that American fans of michelle are going to phone vote for michelle ,if that’s the case ,michelle has won by a mile !! Better her than nasty katie H ,could you imagine if katie H won ! Shame on us !!!! Don’t let this happen please :heart:

Not as from yesterday ,because that would still be a guessing game ,but when you see the betting odds tumble on michelle visage ,you know somone in the telephone exchange knows the heavy traffic of phone votes from the states for michelle visage to be queen 😉 and it’s starting right now 😀

unless Michelle is gay or a trans person she is not a rep of the LGBT community – just like I cannot be a rep for the women unless I am a woman – she can support the LGBT community but cannot be a representative. and she is a bad one to side along and bitch with Katie hopkins after the things she said about fat and people from the north etc. a rep for the gay community – as bears are huge or big – would not align themselves with someone like that and therefore it sounds like she is trying to that community to vote for her – and she is not being honest but two faced
