Katie Price got her big break as a glamour model in 1996, becoming one of The Sun’s many Page 3 girls. Adopting the pseudonym ‘Jordan’, she went on to appear in publications such as The Daily Star FHM, Nuts and Loaded. In 2002, she became a cover girl for the American version of Playboy.
Her love life soon became fodder for the tabloid media, with her list of boyfriends said to include Dwight Yorke, Dane Bowers and Gareth Gates. In 2004, she signed up to take part in ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, where she begun a relationship with fellow contestant Peter Andre.
The pair married, and went on to film several reality series for ITV2, including When Jordan Met Peter and Katie & Peter: The Next Chapter. However, their romance later crumbled and they divorced in late 2009.
Shortly afterwards, Price returned to the I’m A Celebrity jungle for its ninth run – but she quit one week in after viewers voted for her to face six of the gruelling Bushtucker Trial challenges consecutively.
In 2010, she married cage fighter Alex Reid – just after he won the seventh series of Celebrity Big Brother, which also starred Bowers. They separated a year later.
In 2011, Price signed an exclusive deal with Sky Living. The channel aired two series of her solo reality venture Katie, as well as Signed By Katie Price, which offered hopefuls a chance to sign to her management company Blacksheep. The talent contest featured the first TV appearances of Jay McKray and Rylan Clark, who both became Big Brother housemates.
Since early 2013, Price – who has four children – has been married to stripper Kieran Hayler. Their relationship hit a rocky patch last year when it was alleged that he’d cheated on her with her best friend.
The 36-year-old has released five ghostwritten autobiographies and launched several business ventures, including a string of children’s books, three perfumes, and her clothing line KP Equestrian.
Price hopes that Celebrity Big Brother will show viewers the real her – “not the version that a section of the press like to invent” – but she’s well aware that it won’t be like any of her own reality shows: “I’ve never been in the house before and I’m sure it’s not easy, so who knows what will happen?”
Very very disappointing, she looks like somebody who doesn’t want to be there and has been sent in by her agent.

Yes built up a multi million $ empire but still relies on government handouts for her son to get to school. It’s a disgrace and a kick in the teeth of those who desperately need the funding.
I don’t understand why Katie P doesn’t pay for the transport for her son Harvey, she pays for 2 of her other children to go to private school and doesn’t publicly complain about that, why should Harvey’s financial well being be any different ……….. the woman’s loaded and she can well afford to take financial care of all her children.
Hope Katie P gets to the final and would like Katie P and Keith to be the final 2 and either of them to win. :happy:
Think KP happy to put stuff that affects others ( and their families) in the public arena but not happy when people quite naturally take a different view. She realised she’d damaged her ‘brand’ so went after Hopkins as payback. Not nice and the others are happy to join in. Awful to see them gang up on Hopkins.

Why is there a “kick in the teeth for others that desperately need the funding”?????? …… Every disabled child will receive an amount that coincides with their disability…… There is no means test for disabled children it’s a fair system…………To imply that she is stopping others from receiving benefits is wrong and a disgrace……. Come on people what are we saying????? Because you earn a lot of money your disabled children are not entitled to benefits????? ….. Sounds very much like jealousy to me!!!!!

I know what working for a department that deals with this sort of thing – the money is for the extra things and help you need for a disabled person and is not means tested either – what Katie said is wrong and below the belt
