James is best known for his role as a professional dancer on hit BBC One talent contest Strictly Come Dancing.
James began taking dance lessons at the age of 10. When he turned 15, he started competing in dance competitions, and by the time he was 21, James was a major finalist in all Open International Competitions and was ranked one of the best in the world.
James met his dancing partner and wife, Ola, at a dancing competition and was mesmerised by the way she danced. Eventually they became dancing partners after travelling to Poland to try-out together. They danced together for a year before they started dating; four years later in 2003, they got married.
In 2006, James joined Strictly for its fourth series alongside Ola. However, it didn’t take long for James to spark a feud with judge Craig Revel Horwood, which resulted in James allegedly storming out of the studios on one occasion when Craig gave him a low score.
On the show, James has been partnered with actresses Georgina Bouzova, Cherie Lunghi, Zöe Lucker and Denise van Outen, presenters Gabby Logan and Alex Jones, media personality Vanessa Feltz and psychologist Pamela Stephenson. James is notorious for his strops and conflicts when faced with negative criticism on camera.
In 2012 it was reported that James and Ola had been dropped from the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour, allegedly due to his behaviour behind the scenes. In June 2014 it was reported that James had been fired from the show after eight series.

I hate James with a passion, he’s trying so hard to be the alpha male. Telling Audley he’s not scared by him, no of course not James, not when there’s cameras and security to keep you safe. I don’t think Audley would ever go down to his level though. From day one he’s put on a big show and the way he speaks to and about Gary, he’s the reason he’s getting picked on in there! Brad Pitt of the dance world!! Hahahahaha seriously someone needs to give him a wake up call

James needs to leave gary alone. Lost both my parents in the last 2.1/2 years. You then realise about older people and their opinions. Gary nearly lost his life. Feel so sorry for Gary. James needs someone to stand up to him instead of them all playing games. Would love to go in there and give him a piece of my mind.

James is a conceited buffoon ! on Strictley he was often outspoken and controversial towards the judges comments – which in that structured type of show, made good TV. But if the rumours are true his contract was not renewed because his obstreperous attitude made things difficult ??
So I guess we finally get to see just how big his ego is – if James genuinely believed that a stint on BB would friends and influence people then he must be sorely disappointed.
Gary and Audley for entirely different reasons have shown more class than anyone else in that house.
James’ wife must be squirming watching her abhorrent husband night after night.

I am surprised that Channel 5 have not pulled the plug on this show, the behaviour of James Jordan is nothing short of disgusting especially with the way he talks to Gary, as for the task under the dome, I am lost for words, disrespectful does not even begin to explain James’ banter and don’t get me started on Stefanies’ behaviour.

James should be spoken to about his constant bullying of Gary, he is discriminating against the elderly and the disabled. He should be put of the show for discrimination. Why is nothing being done about this.He also has severe anger issues.
