Edele Lynch is a singer-songwriter, best known as one quarter of Irish girl group B*Witched, of which her twin sister Keavy is also a member. She is also the younger sister of Boyzone’s Shane.
B*Witched were initially active between 1998 and 2002, before reforming in 2012 for the ITV2 show The Big Reunion, which saw faded groups of stars reunite and perform their old material at a number of concerts.
The band achieved success in both Europe and the US, with eight Top 20 singles and four number ones during their four-year period of stardom. They toured America performing alongside “NSYNC and Britney Spears.
Being an all girl band without shared lead vocals caused tension within the group, and also contributed to their breaking up.
The fallout between Edele and fellow member Sinead, who had been best friends for 10 years, caused both Keavy and Edele to cut ties with her and split from the band.
After the disbandment, Edele joined the songwriting/production team Xenomania, where she co-wrote “Some Kind of Miracle” for Girls Aloud’s debut album, and “Buster”, “Situation’s Heavy” and “Twisted” for the Sugababes’ third album.
Edele met husband Michael Barrett in 2005 after being setup on a blind date, and got married a year later. They have three children together.

Yes Shane is the “looker” of the family, handsome guy. Edele seems a straight talking no nonsense person, likeable. :happy: :up:

But her accent isn’t even hard to understand. Frenchy, Leslie and Stephanie all understand her and Frenchy doesn’t even speak English as her first language. Edele obviously walked away because she was getting frustrated and didn’t want to snap at Gary. Stop trying to make everything about Gary vs. the House when it isn’t.
I agree with yogi6 her and Audley r probably the most mature in the house. Think they r the only 2 that have no time for bitching and bullying. But it is early days. Opinions could change

She’s one of the nicest to Gary! If you had to repeat yourself as many times as she did don’t you think that you’d give up in the end? She is always there chatting to Gary and whenever he need to understand something she’s the firrt to repeat it.

Edele you’re a nice girl, very natural in the house and generally kind to others although I’m surprised you chose Gary and Frenchie to go, when you were the only one I saw showing them, what I thought was genuine kindness. However I think the only reason you did this is because the rest of the house is pretty much a clique and you would be out of favour if you chose one of them…..i guess it takes guts!
