In 1997, Audley became the British superheavyweight champion and retained the title in 1998. He then went on to win gold at the 1998 Commonwealth Games.

At the Sydney Olympics in 2000, Audley doubled his gold winnings as an amateur when he defeated Mukhtarkhan Dildabekov and became the first British boxer to win Olympic gold in the superheavyweight division.

After his Olympic gold medal win, Audley was awarded an MBE in 2001 Queen’s New Year’s Honours list for his services to sport.

Audley turned professional in 2001 after signing a £1million contract with BBC Sport for his first 10 professional fights. In May 2001, he began his professional career with a first round victory, closely followed by several other convincing wins.

6ft 6 inch Audley continued his winning streak when he made his US debut in 2003. This led to him permanently relocating to the USA, where he was unbeaten in 11 fights, eight of which were knockout victories.

In December 2005, Audley returned to the UK to face fellow Briton Danny Williams for the Commonwealth title; he stepped in after Williams’ opponent pulled out five weeks before the fight, and lost on a split decision in the match.

After being knocked out by Michael Sprott for the European title in 2007, Audley made his comeback when he defeated him in 2010 and won the European heavyweight title. His only chance to be crowned the world champion, in 2010, was against David Haye for the WBA belt; he was knocked out in the third round.

In a brutal first-round knockout in 2012, Audley was put in hospital with a suspected broken nose and mild concussion; which subsequently led him into early retirement.

Despite this, he extended his career again at the age of 41, winning the Heavyweight Prizefighter event for a second time.

Audley I’d love you to win – my head says you deserve it but my heart says Gary. Gary’s endured so much shit in there, I feel he deserves the reward a tad more than you. Audley for my runner up. You truly are a shining example of a very good man. Well Done!

What a true gent our gold medallist Audley is  Its been heartwarming to watch him stick up for Gary and it must be a relief for his wife to see their is still good people in the house. Well done Audley for laughing in James’s face on a daily basis and staying calm. Audley can hold his gorgeous head up high and believe he is truly a good person, not trying to sell himself to the housemates and diary room as some good guy as James the bitch does. Audley or Gary to win! Amazing guys and well loved by all. Be proud of yourself!

Shit no ! I would never have anyone like dee in my company ! NEVER NEVER NEVER
I would sit in audley and Gary’s company all day long if I was privileged enough ! I had to warm to audley at the start but he has shown that he is a well balanced true gentleman , down to earth , has manners , and has respect for his elders , treats women properly ! And has the patients of a saint not to have knocked James out by now !
I want Gary to win but if he doesn’t I would like AUDLEY to WIN because the rest are ignorant self centred losers !

I hope that Audley and Gary are the last two men standing. And although a part of me wants Gary to be the winner, I wouldn’t be too bothered if it was Audley, so long as it’s those two in the final places.
Audley deserves another gold medal for not decking James. He must have been sorely tempted many times, but good on him for not lowering himself to that strutting peacocks level.
    Lovely man

Audley to win.. not only has he been a role model to other young men!!! He has been kind, and advocate for those being or feel singled out and has been himself all the way through. Which overall is just a great guy.

Really like Audley, what a role model he is , he deserves to win . He himself has had a rough ride in the house , the patience of the man, how he didn’t beat James up for his vile comments shows what a true gent he is. James didn’t even say thanks to Audley when he chose to pick James for his letter from home HOW RUDE Gary too has had it rough in the house , the way people have treated him has been vile, and I hope he doesn’t think all the British are the same Gary or Audley to win

I think that Audley and Gary are great representations of a positive celebrity figure although they are both extremely wealthy they remain authentic and have great values. Audley to win! Or Gary (love Gary)
