Celebrity Big Brother 13 January 2014 launch night - Jasmine Waltz

American model and aspiring actress Jasmine Waltz has become the second housemate to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother 2014, and the first to leave by public vote.

The 31-year-old walked out of the house to an overwhelmingly negative reception in the crowd after Jim Davidson, Liz Jones and Luisa Zissman beat her in the vote to save.

Speaking to host Emma Willis about her Big Brother experience, Jasmine said: “It feels like you’re just in this tight little box and you can’t ignore it or run.

“I wanted to stay in, but I’m not upset that I’m leaving. If I had the choice, I’d stay in, but leaving doesn’t upset me because I know that being out there’s so much less stress.”

Her exit interview was dominated by her love triangle, with Jasmine stating that she ‘always understood’ Casey Batchelor’s feelings on her relationship with Lee Ryan.

“She had a crush on him, she liked him. He says one thing and she immediately started flipping out and it threw me for a loop because I didn’t realise she liked him that much,” Jasmine recalled.

However, she added that she didn’t care as much about Casey’s position after the glamour model nominated her for eviction.

“I just stopped caring, like I was protecting her and I wouldn’t be affectionate with him or do anything because I wanted to protect her feelings, but then after she did that and I knew she wasn’t being honest with me I just lost interest in trying to protect her,” explained Jasmine.

“Why should I protect her when she’s out to get me? She straight up told me, no-one else in this house hurt me and I have no reason to vote anyone else. That’s a straight-up lie – Lee hurt her more than I did.”

Jasmine insisted that she and Lee only kissed during their infamous private session in the toilet, and that she ‘honestly doesn’t know’ whether they’ll continue their relationship on the outside.

But she did predict that he may now go back to Casey, saying: “I wouldn’t put it past him. He was wishy washy in the beginning, you just never know.”

After the chat, Jasmine was led back out on to the live stage to take part in the latest nominations twist, which saw her saving two housemates from the next boot-out.

    Big Brother is wasted on the British public. Who on Earth’s voting for Liz, she’s invisible most of the time?

    I find it hard to believe that potty mouth Louisa seems to have so many supporters on this site. Please someone tell me what it is you like about her, because I’ve tried and failed to find some redeeming feature. I usually admire straight talking people, but although Louisa claims to be such a person, she isn’t. She manages to twist what anyone says to suit her purposes. As for being a strong woman, a really strong woman would be able to take criticism as well as dish it out.

    @jennyjuniper
    It’s the dishing out of criticism that people like – she manages to rub people up the wrong way without overstepping the mark completely and it causes real fireworks.

    Plus Luisa’s fun and up for a laugh. She’s just a good all round housemate.
