Daily Mail writer Liz Jones is the bookies’ favourite to become the first evictee of Celebrity Big Brother 2014, although Evander Holyfield also looks to be in the firing line thanks to a twist.
Betting company Ladbrokes has 55-year-old Jones as the leader of their eviction betting market at 4/5, with boxing champion Holyfield being the second favourite at 5/2.
However, tonight’s vote-off isn’t as straightforward as usual, as the public vote will not determine the housemate who leaves. Instead, the three nominees with the most votes to save will be declared safe, while the bottom two will be involved in a twist.
According to Ladbrokes, the trio most likely to be given a lifeline by viewers are Jasmine Waltz, at 3/1, and Jim Davidson and Luisa Zissman on 14/1 each.
Meanwhile, Ollie Locke is the current favourite to win the series, with his odds of 11/8 putting him ahead of Sam Faiers, at 4/1, Lionel Blair, at 11/2, and Dappy at 7/1.
Liz is the outsider in the outright betting market at 100/1, but despite being better placed than Evander in the eviction stakes, Jasmine is the second least favourite at 66/1.
The next live show airs tonight at 9.00pm on Channel 5, which will see Lee and Casey return to the house to ‘drop a bombshell’ after two days in the Bolt Hole.
Odds correct at time of writing.
