Celebrity Big Brother 2013 - Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have moved in to a revamped Celebrity Big Brother 2013 basement, having been set a secret mission to stage a fake walk-out in the latest twist.

After Paula Hamilton left in tonight’s eviction, the American reality TV stars were called to the Diary Room, where Big Brother congratulated them for surviving over a British housemate.

But that wasn’t all he had to discuss, and the pair burst out into grins as they were told they were about to pretend to leave the house via the back door.

“You must convince your fellow housemates that you can’t live with them because they all nominated you this week,” Big Brother explained. “You need to tell them that you’ve been threatening Big Brother that you’ll leave if you weren’t evicted tonight.

“But you’re not going home just yet. You’ll be going back downstairs to a newly pimped-up basement and staying there for 24 hours. During your stay in the basement, you’ll watch the other housemates and have the power to influence events in the house.”

Excited, the pair begun chanting ‘we love the British public’ and ‘God save the Queen’.

Big Brother then revealed that, as a reward, they’ll miss the next set of nominations and be immune from the next public vote, with the whole house receiving an additional prize.

The rest of the housemates will nominate face-to-face later tonight.

Big Brother should have let them go out the fire escape to make it look even more authentic.

What annoys me is that them 2 are getting most airtime and the others are getting less and less airtime. Its not fair on the others.

I feel sorry for the others because they are being shown less. I want everyone to have the same amount of airtime as that is fair.

I think they might aswell tell everyone to leave and rename it the Heidi and Spencer show.

There’s something not quite right about this twist, how could BB be sure that Heidi & Spencer weren’t going to get evicted last night and yet the basement area was all set-up for them to move into.

How come the basement was already set up for them as soon as they had been saved? It’s obvious they wouldn’t have had Paula or Frankie in there on their own. It’s a bit suspicious if you ask me!

Don’t think this twist is suspicious in that way. Two possible scenarios:

    a) The first basement twist ended on Sunday – they’ve had plenty of time to move new furniture in. The could have simply just added the American flag and photos of Heidi and Spencer as soon as it became clear that they were going to/had survived the vote.

    b) They had two twists prepared – Speidi’s luxury basement and the face to face noms. It’s possible that, had Speidi been evicted, they’d just have made a bigger deal of the face to face noms.

Where the task does become a bit iffy is that Heidi and Spencer were hand picked for it and pretty much handed the immunity – there was little if any chance that they could have lost it.

But hey, I’m not complaining, I love Speidi  #SpeidiToWin

    @Stu
Everyone knew Paula would be evicted and that’s without us even having any idea how the voting was going.

If she wasn’t in some sort of bizarre freak twist of fate, then they could have either abandoned the plan altogether or they may have had an alternative plan in place for something different.

an awful lot of preperation went into making the basement suitable for Heidi and Spencer within minutes of the eviction despite the fact that BB couldn’t be sure whether they’d be evicted or not

What they said about some of the housemates is disgusting and I cant stand them 2. I hope they are up for nomination next week and voted out soon.

I would love to know how much they have paid to be constantly on the screen. They have ruined this show for me.
