Big Brother 2017 star Sukhvinder Javeed has hit out at the show for casting “one too many” reality TV stars – and blasted some of her fellow housemates as “repugnant, selfish and manufactured”.

Of the nineteen people who have entered the house so far this summer, at least seven have previously been seen on other major reality shows.

Three – Chanelle, Kayleigh and Kieran – hail from MTV’s Ex On The Beach. Ellie has been on ITV2’s Ibiza Weekender, Arthur is one of The F***ing Fulfords, and Lotan appeared on Sky 1’s Pineapple Dance Studios.

In addition, Sam – the potential new housemate who was rejected and sent home in this week’s dating task – has four shows to his name: Ibiza Weekender, ITV’s Meet The Parents, E4’s Coach Trip, and TLC’s Undressed.

Sukhvinder joked about the issue on Friday’s edition of Bit On The Side, following her shock double exit with her husband Imran. When asked why the public might have voted him out, she quipped: “Maybe you don’t have an agent?”

In an exclusive interview with bbspy, she has now further criticised the show’s apparent reliance on reality TV stars.

“We believe they certainly cast one too many, the ratio was off and the balance favoured the Z-Listers,” she commented. “They were awful, awful, awful to live with! The conversations were like chewing cardboard on a hot day!”

The Leeds entrepreneur said she and Imran “brought real to the show”, remarking: “For Imran to go before some repugnant, selfish and manufactured humans was unjust.”

Sukhvinder also gave her verdict on the producers’ decision to remove Kayleigh, whom she repeatedly clashed with in the house.

“If the right thing for her had happened on Friday night’s eviction, she would have left with a bit of decorum,” she said. “Her true colours came out, we knew it was only a matter of time, that’s why we kept our distance.”
