Nominations Tally

The game has apparently changed for Big Brother 2016, so it looks like nominations will be more tense than ever!

Usually, each housemate will make two nominations every week, and those with the most nominations will face eviction, with the group banned from discussing or influencing votes. However, judging by recent series you can expect Big Brother to throw different twists in every single week – and this year the ‘Others’ look set to have a huge influence on nominations as they plot to steal housemates’ places in the main house!

Below is a table charting the results in numbers – visit our Table page to see who nominated who.

Notes

  • Week 1: On launch night, the Others targeted the housemate deemed ‘sexy’ in a task. As a result, Laura was automatically put up for eviction. They later consciously targeted Alex and Jackson. All housemates targeted by the Others nominated another person each. On Day 4, the Others voted for Alex and Jackson to be evicted; they immediately entered the Other house and became Others.
  • Week 2: Victoria walked out on Day 5; Emma was allowed to stay as a solo housemate. On Day 8, Chelsea lost his housemate status and became one of the Others. Ryan was set a secret mission to win housemate status by getting one housemate nominated for eviction; the Others collectively decided he should target Laura. He failed this mission.
  • Week 3: On Day 13, the housemates beat the Others in a battle; as a reward they were the only people allowed to nominate this week, and could only nominate the Others. After the battle took place, the Others moved in to the main house and became full housemates.
  • Week 5: Emma would have faced this week’s eviction, but she was removed on Day 31 for repeatedly breaking out of the house.
  • Week 6 was Annihilation week, when housemates decided who went in a series of shock evictions. On Day 34, they unanimously evicted Chelsea. On Day 36, Jason had to evict a housemate for taking £20k from the prize fund. He chose Lateysha. On Day 39, housemates each cast a vote to evict one of the three who came bottom in the public vote (Laura, Ryan and Sam). With four votes, Ryan was evicted.
  • Week 7: After nominations took place, Sam won a ‘save and replace’ power. He used this to save Jayne from the public vote, and chose to put Andy up in her place.
  • Final: The vote to win froze at 3.00pm on Day 48. As the two housemates with the least votes, Sam and Alex were evicted two days before the final.
