TV3 viewers in the Republic of Ireland will not be able to vote in Big Brother 2015: Timebomb evictions, bbspy can confirm.

Earlier this month the broadcaster told us that it was “looking into” setting up eviction votes after announcing it would air the show in Ireland for the first time in four years.

However, when lines for the second eviction opened during last night’s episode, the on-air terms and conditions warned: “Please don’t vote if you’re watching outside the UK.”

A TV3 spokesperson has since confirmed to bbspy that Big Brother fans in the Emerald Isle will not be able to participate in eviction votes.

This is despite the network offering similar premium rate phone votes for ITV talent contests Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor, charged at €0.75 per call.

Last night it was revealed that Adjoa, Eileen and Sarah will face the axe this week following the first round of nominations, which housemates completed face-to-face.

Cristian had received the most nominations, but was given a lifeline when Jack decided to use one of his three immunity passes on the rapper.

Big Brother’s second live eviction airs this Friday at 9.00pm on Channel 5 and TV3.
