Why do you want to enter the Big Brother House?
I think it’s a challenge and I’m looking forward to a challenge because I like a challenge. I used the word challenge quite a bit in that sentence but we like a challenge!

Big Brother could make you famous. What has been your closest celebrity encounter to date?
I’ve met a couple of politicians at a member of the Conservative party and secretary of Cardiff North Conservative association. This election was a great weekend for me and it’s a great weekend for our country!

Which traits do you find most annoying in a Housemate?
I don’t care if a person doesn’t have my political view as long as they have got a view. We’ll have a debate. I’m going to win, but I love a debate!

What will you do with the money if you win?
I have a Fiat 500 and it’s great. It’s automatic but you can’t tell people that because I can’t handle the clutch! They do this Ferrari edition which has a Ferrari engine in it. And it’s automatic!

Which former Big Brother Housemate would you say you were most like and why?
I haven’t really watched it, but my mother loves Big Brother and she encouraged me to apply. I haven’t heard good things about Perez Hilton!

Are you looking for love in the he Big brother House?
I am 19 years old and I am having fun being a singleton. I don’t have any interest at the moment in finding love, especially in the Big Brother house.

What has been you greatest achievement?
I was appointed the youngest school governor in Wales and I’m a local community councillor. That was a big achievement for me because I think it is great to represent people.

Where do you see yourself in five years’ time?
I love law. I think it is good to have politicians who have got a career before they go into politics. Life experience is important and Big Brother is undoubtedly a huge life experience.

What do you bring to the House?
I am brutally honest. I think it is important for a person to know the truth and that may offend people but at least you will have my honest opinion.

What will you do to win?
I am a competitive person in the sense that I will speak my mind. We will see!

What story from your past will you use to break the ice?
Maybe we will start off about the election. I hope the people in the house voted! I hope they are interested in politics otherwise they are going to nominate me!

What do you love most in the world and what will you miss in the House?
I love Galaxy chocolate. Six little chunks in a line is very enjoyable and I am going to miss that.

I’ve liked Joel from the start and the only one I haven’t changed an opinion on. He’s articulate, doesn’t feel the need to swear every other word and he sticks to his guns when he thinks he is right.
For someone so young, he can read other people pretty well.

    I think he’ll make it to the final, and indeed could be the winner. { plus he’ll get oodles of Welsh votes}

I happen to live in the same district as Joel, he was a familiar sight in our area during the last election campaign, he may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I can honestly say he’s certainly not fake or putting on any kind of act in the house, he’s very serious about his career path in politics, some might say a little to serious for someone as young as him, but my main point is his behaviour in the house is exactly the same as outside in his real life, he has the same personality both inside and out, he’s being true to himself so good on him

The BIGGEST fake & the BIGGEST game player in the house.

The guy is so calculated…………he thinks about EVERYTHING that he says & does……….you can see that he is conscious of his actions, 24/7.

He’s far too worried about his public profile & his wannabe future as a politician or talk-show host.

He needs to STOP with his fake & insincere questioning of the other housemates & with the fake interest that he shows in them.

    He only cares about HIMSELF……………..

Nothing wrong with thinking before you speak! Some of the others should learn from it, there’s quite a few people in there that run their mouth off without putting their brain in gear just for the airtime! Take fanny he likes to challenge people when HE thinks they are wrong, but he just doesn’t have the intellect to support his point and usually ends up looking stupid then storms off in a temper, …then there’s Jack Mcdoughnut, he only ever uses football speak which consists of ugg ugg ugg,….Cristian is a clone of Fanny, pretty but thick, or pretty thick, his recent “forced ” attempts to be entertaining were very childish not to mention cringing,…Nick is away with the fairies most of the time, walking around pulling at his hair with is finger shoved up his nose!..then there’s Mr No-biz, what dose he do?…..Mark is Mark!!!?………for me Joel is the only one out of the guys that makes any sense, on the two occasions he questioned the housemates, both were part of a task!! He doesn’t get involved with all the childish spittle in the house, if someone has a go at him he is more than capable of getting his point across in an eloquent calm orderly manner, he can hold his own in any conversation without shouting/swearing, he’s the youngest in the house but shows more maturity then the others put together.

To me it seems that Joel may have been bullied at school and has learned if you stick with the bullies you yourself will not be bullied.

Joel’s not playing a game! Not in a million years! He’s one of the only ones in there who isn’t playing a game in there! He’s a nice young man and doesn’t deserve people on here calling him a game player!

I hope Joel gets a warning for throwing the pastries at Jack. Total over reaction from him (with the boring Chloe butting in in the background) and shows that he really doesnt know his housemates very well. Jack was only joking with Joel and he asked Joel if he really thought he would eat the pastries, knowing that they were for the guests and therefore part of the task, to which Joel said yes. Bad judgement from Joel when he knew how seriously Jack had taken the task.
Joel was aggresive and broke the the rules. BB, you must be fair!

I used to really like Joel but he let himself down when he appeared to side with helen and marc and I don’t trust anyone who would do that! I don’t mind who wins out the rest cos at least none of them are nasty bullies like Helen and marc.

LOL I love Joel, but judging someone by association is wrong. I hate Marc, Helen, Danny, Jack etc. But Joel hangs/hung out with them. So just because he is neutral and is friends with everyone, you suddenly don’t like him? Twat.

I loved Joel when he entered the house, he was my winner straight away. But lately he has started to become more whiny and it is just really annoying, especially when he goes what I call ‘politician’ mode, this is when he becomes the most deceiving and manipulative; this is because he talks over the other housemates who are trying to make a point and he keeps denying it constantly even if they are being honest.
Like I said I really liked Joel and wanted him to win, but I mean even the whole situation that happened with Aaron I thought was taken way out of proportion I am not saying that I agree with what Aaron did but it was the way Joel handled it by going to the diary room and he knew that by saying what he said, this would cause Big Brother to realize this and remove Aaron from the house. For that reason I see Joel as the biggest game player of the house and I guarantee that as the last few tasks go on and it becomes every man for themselves Joel will be the first to do that. e.g. the £2500 pizza … :straight: This is my opinion and if that offends anyone them I’m sorry.

Joel is too serious a person to be an entertainer, he is just too hard and serious about everything sure his not a team player.

Joel turns everything into a debate ,or interview mode. it is a pity he cant just relax and be himself.
Still like the lad but stop the performance.

I think he’s great. He has been so entertaining the last couple of nights. The Abba song was hilarious. The hide and seek game came to life when he acted it out like a cops and robbers film. Really good. He can be so serious at times and other times he couldn’t care less. Let’s not forget that he is only 19. His questions and answers in the task tonight were so well thought out and very mature. He is a confident, intelligent and well brought up young man who I’m sure will go far.I believe he can win this and if he does he would be the youngest BB winner.

Well it looks as if Tory Boy is going to win, Mr Cameron will be pleased! Joel is just so crass, the boy cannot relax, his whole being encapsulated as a controlled political being, such a shame for a young person to be so wrapped up in just one subject affecting his complete persona and outlook on life, to me he is boring and needs to lighten up, if he is like this now goodness knows what he will be like when he is older. He has continually belly ached about the demise of the prize fund, knowing full well he has his eye on the prize; – money – typical Tory – keep it all for oneself and forget the rest. One presumes after this Joel will become a mealy mouthed politician and a selfish poe faced Tory with absolutely no empathy with ordinary people, a life of wheeling and dealing using his political influence to line his pockets and like the dreadful mob of waywards in Westminister live a life of “debauchery”, sailing close to wind and enjoying abject opulence with country Estates and staff. BB will have certainly given Joel the misguided future he obviously so desires, if as seems likely he will saunter off with the one hundren or so grand in his pockets, small fry to riches that await Tory Boy. So sad.

Oh! I see you’re a Tory then lol. Oxford this is not a platform in which to spout off your political frustrations.
And please look up the definition of the word ‘crass’. This is one word that you could not associate with Joel.
Not sure how old you are, but your post would suggest you have passed your teenage years. If that is the case, then you should be happy that a young man of 19, a teenager, has shown himself in a very good light and is a good example of all that is good in teenagers. People are so quick to pull young people down and here is the chance to show support to a teenager who has two sides to him. the serious and the fun side. He has been the most interesting, intelligent, entertaining and mature person in the house and has never resorted to the filthy language that the other finalists have used. Support teenagers who have these qualities instead of pulling them down. He has made the last few days in the house very amusing to watch. Without him it would have been BORING. I hope he wins and can go on record as being the youngest BB winner.

My last post on this site at the end of BB, no less because of the annoying yellow trash that keeps covering the screen but it seems as if Tory Boy will win, of which I will be sadly disappointed, it seems the UK at present is drawn to this selfish political party who have only one aim, to turn the UK back to the days of Barons and Surfs. We do not need someone as boring as Joel plaguing our TV screens espousing selfish Tory clap-trap, I feel that Joel winning, BB will propell this young man into our faces for generations, what an awful thought, while Jade is flushing her career down the drain hanging around with Belo, Joel is advancing his – swings and roundabouts…….BYE

Oh just one comment before I finally hang up my “pen”……..I am retired, 66 years of age, own many properties and have many pennies in the bank, have 2 daughters 26 and 39 and a son 41, married nearly 50 years .. seems like forever. Have a load of experience in the Celeb world, I tell all you folks now, the Tories are the road to poverty for ordinary people, been there, seen it, got the teeshirt. Bye. The End.

The thing is Oxford, this isn’t a general election!! It’s Big Brother!!, nobody is pushing their political agenda here except you, there’s a time and place that and it isn’t here! And it is with the upmost respect when I say nobody is really interested in your personal life, this forum is to discuss the housemates! ..not politics nor personal lifestyles , it’s all about housemates, first, last, and always.
