Chris wants to be an actor but is currently between jobs – he enjoys the ‘gypsy lifestyle of acting’ and has never worked a 9-5 job because he ‘just couldn’t’. He is also a skilled artist – selling works of art drawn in biro – and lists his main passions as music, movies, ideas, girls, individuality, creativity, honesty and respect.

The 33-year-old feels that his parents have taught him how to be polite to others at all times: ‘I’m trying to wean myself of this a bit because now I am obsessively polite –if someone punched me in the face and they got blood on their knuckles I’d apologise for making their hands dirty’. He is also quick and witty with a dry sense of humour, claiming: ‘I don’t see class, I just see d**kheads or not d**kheads’.

When asked if he would choose money or love, Chris said: ‘I’d rather have money right now, I’ve got love but I don’t feel independent enough to say I love myself.’ His best personality trait is that if he has bonded with someone, he will ‘love them unconditionally forever – friends and relationships’. He explains his worst personality trait as: ‘I’ll see a sunny day and say yeah but it’s going to rain in a minute’.

Chris is definitely not looking for love in the Big Brother house. He laughed: ‘I never fancied anyone who’s been on BB anyway. That is my worst nightmare.’

He gets on best with intelligent people, as ‘willing stupidity is worse than natural stupidity’. He has a big group of friends, he’s ‘trying to reduce it’.

Chris wants to do Big Brother for the ‘free rent’, ‘to lose weight’ and because he ‘can’t afford therapy’ – but insists he’s not doing the show to further his acting career: ‘I will walk through any open door right now just to check out the scenery.’

He adds that he would resent having to participate in tasks – saying his pride would get in the way, and he hates team bonding games – but thinks he would be brilliant at secret missions.

I’m going to be really disappointed if this is true.
I am still confused by his behaviour originally he struggled so much, befriended Jale (who now totally dislikes him)
Showed a really creative sense of humour, admitted his mistakes and apologised where necessary …… So I still kind of hope he is acting…
Instead of feeling threatened by Pav I thought he may feel some sort of camaraderie towards him, but it doesn’t seem to be happening.
Maybe I am more upset for my misplaced sympathies for him !

I get your point but I was still hoping the tears were fake (like Helens – although she did mention her son for the first time – god that poor boy when he is 16 and watches the re-runs !!)
You may accuse me of being like Christopher (as in sitting on the fence, not picking my nose  )
But I’m going to fence sit a little longer before I jump ………………I just hope I land on my toes 😀

I’m really not sure why everyone is so down on Chris(and Mark for that matter) at the moment.
He still seems the same guy as when he came in, a normal down to earth guy.

wondering what Chris is up to when he told Pav to stop looking at Ashleigh, he practically accused Pav of perving over her, he has no right to do that.

I’ve liked Chris throughout but have gone completely off him after tonights show. He made pav feel so uncomfortable and was making him out to be some sort of perv! Chris should know better he was ostracized in beginning. Pav should have said ‘I will look at who I want to thankyou’. Pavs gonna feel awkward now looking at any of them and I believe that was Chris intention; to push him out of the group even more than he already is! There is such a culture of bullying in the house this year. It’s been a horrible house all started by Ash and Helen and now some of the others following suit.

I think it is shocking the way Chris is behaving to PAV about Ashleigh – it is very very unfair.

    what is Chris at.?

    @Liz
Wasn’t he just defending Ashleigh as that’s what she was told from the outside world? Most of the bad feeling towards Pav has come from the bitter ex housemates,

Thats true the ex housemates definitely planted the seed. Iv gone off most the housemates now. I think its been a strange year i havnt particularly warmed to any of them. I think Christopher and now pav are my faves but to be honest there just the best of a bad bunch. @Bobmeister

I think that Chris really has strong feelings for Ashleigh and he feels that pav is a threat to him. Chris stated that it was not his place to say anything to Pav about him staring at Ashleigh, then why did he say something to Pav, ermmmm i wonder. I previously wanted Chris to be in the final but the way he has acted towards the new house mates, especially towards pav, has changed my mind.

 Conniving Chris now showing his true colours, I knew he was devious, but how nasty his creepy comments re Ashleigh to Pav.

Could this be Chris’ slow manipulation of the housemates?
I genuinely liked him, he was unobtrusive, he thought before he spoke, befriended Jale ( though he has lost that now) but really projected himself as an underdog done good. Plus he was witty.

I think perhaps I have underestimated him:

If we take it that the tears to Helen were fake or at least exaggerated , he now has her on board, so score 1. to Chris

The seeds he planted towards Pav will grow, I’m pretty sure he (Chris) has no inappropriate feelings towards Ashleigh …but he may be implying that others do ( Pav) in an effort to glean the protective Fatherly figure role. (sore 2 to Chris)

If that’s the case then he is playing a good game and Im not knocking him for doing so.

If its not then he is weak, far weaker than I thought, and that give me the hump for liking him in the first place! 😯

What a odd person. I really did like him but he has slowly become a bit of a creep. Why does he have such a big problem with Zoe and Pav? It’s really odd the way he keeps saying how he likes how ‘everyone’s getting along’ but keeps on reminding everyone that Zoe and Pav are the newbies and is especially picking on Pav. I think that if he goes this week, the house will be very different and a lot less hostile.

No he is being conniving, he tried to put the idea in Ashleigh’s head that Pav was staring at her and Ashleigh was unconcerned about it.
Chris has no right to say anything to Pav about it, poor kid didn’t have a clue what he was talking about. He never jumped to her defence when Helen and her cronies were shouting her down did he, no because he’s shit scared of Helen. Not only that he’s not even consulted Ashleigh about talking to Pav, that is so wrong. She has proved she doesn’t need a little weasel like him to stick his oar in. She is perfectly capable of standing up for herself.

    @Kristina Exactly…well said.

All the crap Ashleigh has had to put up with during this series, and the ONE time Chris decides to “stand up” for her is against mild mannered, anonymous Pav. The weakest person in the house WHO HADN’T EVEN DONE ANYTHING WRONG.

He should be ashamed of himself.

I hope this is pointed out to him upon his exit. I always liked Chris but he has shown himself to be a conniving little weasel.

    Embarrassing.
