Articulate and feisty, Irish born Hazel wants to show that all models are “not as boring as Georgia Salpa” with whom she had a tabloid feud. Hazel is well known in Ireland for being the former girlfriend of rugby player, Fergus McFadden.
Hazel isn’t afraid to manipulate people in the house. She’s vindictive and always tries to get what she wants. Hazel frequents VIP circles in Dublin and she often manages to get herself snapped with celebrities. She describes her upbringing as a “bit crazy” and is very good at detaching herself from a situation and from people in general.
Hazel always has more male friends than girls and when she started modelling, girls stopped talking to her. A former tabloid newspaper found her through her Bebo site and she has previously posed topless.
Hazel considers her best personality trait to be that she can talk to anyone. She says that she treats everyone the same regardless of their background. Her worst personality traits are “I can be like a terrier sometimes – snappy and irritable”.

Dave you are right on the money there for sure..my attempt at some sense of perspective and objectivity is for the sake of people in the UK looking in from the outside who do not know the HOS back story and who are not sure what to really make of her…with reference to a true Irish hero who has since passed her involvement in that matter still leaves a very sour taste over here..hence all the furore with Daley and that situation given the obvious connections to events past..it also explains the Irish media general indifference to HOS barring the odd ‘lie’ she feels compelled to concoct now and then and manages to feed to some young naieve wannabe muppet/ ‘showbiz correspondent’ to post…
And finally…to all you deluded m*r*ns who confuse a so called ‘strong woman’ with a cold hollow self-serving bitch devoid of any compassion, humanity or empathy toward the human condition… do you honestly think the massive negative reaction is solely down to old-fashioned jealously and begrudgery?.Us Irish are a proud nation of people…we have cheered every BB contestant from Brian Dowling to Anna Nolan Ray Shah, even Tyrone Tom and Orlaith Mc from Norn Iron…I’ve no doubt that had people in ROI been allowed to vote in BB13 HOS would have bucked that trend…. and she would have been booted the second she was nominated….I’m aware that by my very writing this negative press she may be winning the battle…but not the war…good fn riddance, stay put over there,and don’t come back, your day will come…
Accusing people of jealousy simply denotes lack of intelligent debate and vacuous minds, obviously judging people on outward appearance only. She is a pretty woman with a very nasty personality.
Whatever daley did was wrong, but it was hazel who showed her true colours by choosing to allow him to chase her. If hazel did have a bit more respect and empathy, she would have found out what the true situation was before she let things get out of hand, and even if he had just split up with someone – as was one of his claims, then its always a good idea to allow the person time and space to get over things, before starting a new relationship anyway.

I had a bad feeling about hazel around week 3, and then when big brother showed her and charlie speaking together and Hazel maniacally turning the house against charlie (who isn’t my favorite or anything). I am all for game play but it seems to me that Hazel was telling the truth about evil inside her. Add to that the fact that she had a fall out with several models she said were just jealous of her (a couple being hotter than her) and I have to think she is a mean person. Also In an article quoting her she states she will not date a poor man and that she expects a celebrity lifestyle. That is the opposite of her talking in the house, contradicting your own published quote is suspicious. I doubt Hazel is innocent in all the instances she has had issues. (not only in the house either). That being said, if I was into emotionless one night stands then she would be alot of fun. She is too mean to be vanilla.

That was GINA who said about not dating a poor person in a newspaper article. The exact quote was ‘I could never date someone who is poor. That would be the worst thing that could ever happen to me.’
Hazel said the opposite. “…I went out with a very wealthy businessman. I found myself being whisked off to Paris on dates, he’d lavish me with gifts, put me up in the Four Seasons Hotel, throw open the window and there would be the Eiffel Tower lit up in front of you. It was every girl’s dream. But I would prefer to go for a burger and chips and a walk in St Stephen’s Green to feed the ducks — as long as it’s with someone that I love.”
