A brand new Endemol UK-owned website advertising ‘official Big Brother auditions’ for Channel 5 has been discovered online.
The site, situated at BigBrotherAuditions.com, currently consists of a simple black and yellow page explaining that applications for the 2011 series are ‘starting soon’. It includes links to Endemol and C5′s websites.
This comes a fortnight after a new holding page at BigBrother.com was revealed, containing a hidden message found by bbspy reading “Official Big Brother Auditions Holding Page”. However, just minutes after we revealed it, Endemol edited it to remove the word ‘auditions’.
Further details regarding auditions are yet to be announced, while it remains unclear what the BigBrother.com address will be used for. It was previously a global website for the show.
Meanwhile, Channel 5 said on Twitter on Friday that they will make a ‘big announcement’ within days, though they didn’t clarify whether or not it is about Big Brother.

Personally I can’t see much of a theme yet and what is going on with the font – looks a bit basic to me…

I love big brother it is the best and i am so glad it is coming back. but when and how long is it on for and is it just going to be to 2011 or to 2013 and we all wish it so come and watch it when it comes on and it hotter stay on faffs ever

They cannot have the original font back, it’s owned by Channel 4 and it is their trademark font, it’s something they will never have back!
It looks amazing! Looks like Endemol are pulling out all the stops, I am glad they are not letting BB die again on Channel 5! I just hope it doesn’t turn into the American one, which is (sorry to say) awful! BBUK is the best :D
@Stewart C I know BB has always used the C4 typeface but the C5 branding is so dull by comparison and I would hope that Endemol can come up with something better than what we see on the audition site. Having said that it’s early days so all this is probably temporary.
As for the branding, I’m not a fan. Its all looks very “Glee” with those stars on those double doors. I’d like BB to be presented as a once in a life-time exeperience, a challenge and a game or sorts, not a doorway to easy access (and extremely fickle) stardom. So far, with not an eye in sight, the iconic BB image is missing. I would have liked to have seen the baseline template version of Eatock’s eye in place of the stars on the doors, at least for continuity if nothing else.
After the great job that Endemol, C4, Hello Charlie and Eatock did last year with the branding and on-screen ID of BB11 and Ultimate BB, this series has a lot to live up to. I’m pretty sure it’ll all come together nicely in the end though.

I do agree with you on that one! It almost looks like the USA CBS version styling and Im worried it will copy parts of the US BB which is horrible and tacky. I think they will keep the BB Eye and theme music in the end but I see why they want it too look different. They are going to change it a lot to get people interested again and to keep it fresh.

Bear in mind this is just an auditions website – it’s a new era and they don’t have any past graphics to work with. It’ll probably have little reflection on the series itself, though I am anticipating a few changes.

I am a really big fan of big brother and cant wait till it back on our tv but i was really sad that there wasnt any auditions in glasgow so lets hope they have them here next time .
Big Brother is AMAZING! Lucien is HOT! and Jedward are so Funny, them panda shoes. haha
